The Change Room is the place to start to explore ways of thinking differently and to begin putting those life challenges into a new light. If you are ready to make some changes, this is the place to stop and work through how things could be different. In The Change Room at Black Stump festival, you’ll find interactive thought games and cards, comfy lounges and a welcoming team to help guide you though the changes you are ready for. Work out your personal strengths and how to enhance them, discover your personality style and your characteristics in coping, and explore what career you are suited to. There will be time to explore life issues through talking to a 'Stump psych', journaling, or using resources to help trigger different thinking patterns. Visit us to book a free, individual session with a trained psychologist during the festival weekend.

During the Black Stump festival, The Change Room team also run a number of elective workshops, helping people to understand mental health issues and what we can do to help empower people towards mental health and wellbeing.

The Change Room is staffed by Lyn Worsley, Clinical Psychologist, popular speaker and regular at Black Stump, as well a young, innovative team of psychologists from Alpha Counselling Services and The Change Room in Sydney. If you’ve been challenged to make some changes while at Black Stump or you want things to be different, make the time to visit The Change Room during the weekend!
